Why did you start Soave Café and who designed your logo?

Most people know me as a French Horn player and teacher, but my side-passion has been coffee for many years.

I’ve been roasting coffee for myself and family for over 15 years now, trying out all varietals of coffee beans, and experimenting with different roasting profiles to create the flavors I was seeking in the cup. I love everything about the process of roasting and brewing coffee, and decided to start my own small business in 2024 to share this love with others!

I asked my very talented sister, Lindsay Hempfling, to see if she would be willing to help create a logo for Soave Café, and I’m really happy to showcase her work on all of our coffee bags and have a family connection to this endeavor.
